Top Ten Tuesday- Favourite Tropes

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This Weeks Topic is: Favourite Tropes

I’ve never really thought about my favourite tropes; I usually read a book and think I hated that trope or I loved that book, not really associating that love with the trope. So because of this I was only able to come up with 5 favourites today … and without further ado, listed below in no particular order are my favourite tropes 🙂

                                                                    Fake Datingthefillinboyfriend

I love books where the characters are fake dating to help one another out. I prefer a positive ending but not all are perfect.

Enemy to Loverred white

This trope gets me every time and to my luck this summers hot romance releases are filled with it.

Friends to Loverszone

Even though this trope is the polar opposite of the one above it still amkes the favourites list. Opposites attract though right!!

                             The Sensitive Bad Boysaved

This is the trope that sucked me back into reading in my adult life. I love me a bad boy but I also love me a sensitive one, what better combine the two.

Rescued from a Dark and Troubled Past wanted

Like above this one too, helped solidify my adult reading life. I highly recommend the Wanted Series by Kelly Elliott.

What are some tropes you love?

Do you pay attention to them when reading?

Let me know in the comments .. Love hearing from all of you 🙂
