Book Haul: July 2017 #1

Oh boy my bank account sure felt some pain in the first week of this month. The book store (Chapters/Coles/Indigo) was having a great deal; buy 3 young adult book and get one free, which could be combined with buy 5 books get $10 to use next visit. Needless to say I went back a few times.

First Trip

Geekerella The Upside of Unrequited When Dimple Met Rishi Now I Rise (The Conqueror's... Dangerous Girls

I’ve heard many good things about Geekerella, When Dimple Met Rishi and The Upside of Unrequited, from Booktube and many blogs.

I’ve been waiting entirely too long for Now I Rise, really hate reading books before realizing they are part of an unfinished series.

Dangerous Girls was a recommendation from the amazing sales rep.

Second Trip

The Beginning of Everything The Accident Season Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens ... Rusty Nailed (Cocktail, #2) Sapphique (Incarceron, #2)

I went into the store looking for some great contemporary reads, I got the recommendation of The Beginning of Everything and Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda (review scheduled to be posted tomorrow).

Rusty Nailed was a the second book to Wallbanger a book I already read (review of Wallbanger already posted).

Sapphique is the second book in a series that was a cover buy. I mean come on the covers are soooo cool.

Accident Season was recommended by the sales rep of my last trip, but I already had 5 books. 😛

Third Trip

The Hate U Give Delirium (Delirium, #1) Pandemonium (Delirium, #2) Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1) A Court of Mist and Fury (A...

The Hate U Give is a recommendation from the sales rep of a great read to get out of a series reading slump.

Delirium and Pandemonium was cover grabs that after reading the covers seemed like amazing reads.

Anna and the French Kiss was on several summer top contemporary reads list, darn Pinterest.

Court of Mist and Fury, again another series grab. Even though I went in saying I am done with series for the summer.

Well that was my book buying quota for the summer, but I’m sure if you follow me you will soon find out that the bookstore brings out the worst in my personal restraint.

I hope you enjoy my escape and find one of your own – keep on reading. 🙂
